The number of photographers or cinematographers present at your events can vary depending on the package you choose and the size of your event. Typically, we work with a team of 2 photographers & 2 cinematographers for wedding & reception day to ensure that all aspects of your day are covered from multiple angles. For larger events or if additional coverage is needed, we may have additional team members present. Rest assured, we will work with you to determine the best team size to ensure that your wedding day is captured beautifully.
No, we do not deliver every image we shoot. Part of our job as a professional photographer is to select the best images from your wedding day, including those that are technically sound and artistically pleasing. We carefully curate and edit these images to create a beautiful and cohesive collection that tells the story of your day. Delivering every image would include duplicates, test shots, and images that may not meet our quality standards, which could dilute the overall impact of your final gallery. Rest assured, we strive to deliver a comprehensive selection of images that capture all the key moments and details of your wedding day.
Yes, our studio provides videography services in addition to photography. We offer comprehensive coverage of your wedding day, capturing all the special moments in both photos and videos. Our videography services include cinematic highlight films, full-length ceremony and reception videos, and drone footage (where permitted). We use high-quality equipment and editing techniques to create a beautiful and memorable film that you can cherish for years to come.
Yes, we do destination weddings! we love traveling to new locations and am always excited about the opportunity to capture weddings in beautiful and unique destinations. Whether your wedding is in a different city or country, We are available to travel to your chosen location to provide photography and videography services for your special day.
These fees would be discussed and included in the overall pricing package for your destination wedding.
· Travel Expenses: This includes airfare or other transportation costs to and from the destination.
· Accommodation: You may be responsible for covering the cost of accommodations for the photographer and any additional team members traveling to the destination.
· Meals and Incidentals: You may need to provide meals for the photographer and team during their stay, as well as cover any other incidental expenses.
· Local Transportation: If transportation is needed between locations on the wedding day or during the stay, those costs may be passed on to you.
· Permits and Fees: Some locations require permits for photography or videography, and these costs would be passed on to you.
· Additional Shoot Days: If your destination wedding requires multiple days of coverage, there may be additional fees for each additional day.
We typically do not provide RAW (unprocessed) files from shoots. As part of my service, I edit and process each RAW files to create the final images that are delivered to you. These final images are typically provided in a high-quality JPEG format, which is more widely compatible and easier to view and share. However, on occasion, we may provide RAW images along with our post-produced JPG’s for an additional fee and restrictions.
Typically, I would be present to capture your wedding personally. However at Samir K Photography we have a team of professional photographers and cinematographers who work with me to ensure that every moment of your wedding day is captured beautifully. Rest assured, I work closely with my team and personally oversee the editing process to ensure that the final images and videos meet my high standards of quality and creativity.

· Pre-Wedding Events: Coverage needed for pre-wedding events, such as mehndi or sangeet, can vary. Typically, 4-6 hours of coverage for each event is recommended.
· Hindu Wedding: Hindu weddings can be elaborate and may require a full day or more to capture all the rituals and ceremonies. Typically, 10-12 hours of coverage is recommended.
· Sikh Wedding: Sikh weddings can also be lengthy due to the Anand Karaj ceremony and other rituals. Similar to Hindu weddings, 10-12 hours of coverage is usually sufficient.
· Christian Wedding: Christian weddings are often shorter in duration compared to Hindu or Sikh weddings. Coverage of 6-8 hours is usually enough to capture the ceremony and key moments.
· Nikkah: A Nikkah ceremony is typically shorter in duration compared to other wedding ceremonies. 4-6 hours of coverage is usually sufficient to capture the ceremony and any pre- or post-ceremony events.
· Reception: Receptions can vary in length depending on the program and number of guests. 6-8 hours of coverage is usually enough to capture the key moments of the reception.
